Founded by Johnny Davis, the PBSC (Point Boxing© Sparring Circuit) is a copyrighted boxing sparring program that emphasizes technical skill over power. With decades of experience in combat sports, Mr. Davis designed the PBSC to provide a safe environment for athletes to refine their craft using a unique semi-contact format focused on precision and technique.
PBSC matches occur on a matted floor, prohibiting knockouts and judging bouts on points for clean punches instead of strength. Full protective gear is mandatory for all participants, ensuring safety and fairness.
Since its inception, the PBSC has become a sanctioned organization attracting athletes worldwide and has established itself as a cornerstone of the boxing community.

Rafael Mendoza serves as the Vice President of the PBSC (Point Boxing Sparring Circuit) across the United States and as the Director of Operations in Mexico and worldwide. With thousands of competitors and matches overseen under his leadership, Rafael has played a pivotal role in the circuit’s expansion. While PBSC was originally founded by Mr. Johnny Davis, Rafael’s dedication to fostering sportsmanship, discipline, and technical excellence has helped the organization grow into one of the premier point sparring competitions globally.
