A Message from PBSC

“Athlete Freedom & Fair Competition Matter”

In the world of combat sports, athletes, coaches, and promoters have the fundamental right to choose where and how they compete. That right is protected by both state and federal law — and no individual, organization, or governing body has the legal authority to threaten, coerce, or punish anyone for participating in a lawful, insured, and structured event.

PBSC – the Point Boxing Sparring Circuit – was created to provide a safe, developmental, and technically focused pathway for fighters of all ages and experience levels. Our events are fully insured, professionally officiated, and operate under certified regulations designed to protect athletes while helping them grow.

⚖️ What the law says:

Any attempt to monopolize or control access to competition through threats, false statements, or coercion can constitute a restraint of trade under the Sherman Antitrust Act.

Any effort to intimidate athletes or gyms by threatening licenses, membership, or future opportunities for choosing to participate in lawful events can amount to tortious interference and unfair competition under California and federal law.

No private entity or public agency has the authority to dictate participation beyond their own events. Doing so can lead to serious legal consequences.

🚨 In short:

Athletes are free to develop their careers through any legal and insured platform.

Promoters and coaches are free to collaborate with independent organizations without fear of retaliation.

And any individual or organization that attempts to manipulate, intimidate, or monopolize access to competition is acting outside the law — and may be held accountable.

PBSC will always defend the rights of athletes and coaches to choose the best path for their development — without fear, politics, or pressure. Our mission is to build the next generation of fighters through safety, skill, and opportunity — and no one has the right to stand in the way of that mission.
