HOW IT WORKS

COMPETITION FORMAT

SCORING SYSTEM

  • Most common scoring outcome.
    One athlete demonstrates a clear advantage.

  • Used for:
    - Dominant rounds
    - Knockdowns
    - Significant unanswered clean punches

  • Used only for severe dominance or multiple knockdowns.

  • Extremely rare.
    Used only when neither athlete establishes an advantage.

OFFICIAL DOCUMENTS

SAFETY & MEDICAL OVERSIGHT

  • Annual medical clearance required

  • Event-day medical screening

  • Ringside medical personnel present

  • Concussion & suspension protocols

  • Equipment inspections

  • Emergency response planning

  • Matchmaking oversight

  • Athlete safety remains the highest priority of all PBSC Amateur events.
